we had a fantastic weekend in Rhossili beach on the Gower Peninsula in Wales when we smashed the world record for Skinny Dipping on Sunday the 19th of June. Over 400 of us took our kit off for the Marie Curie charity...
To the east of Bournemouth pier now stands a row of colourful beach huts, signifying sunrise to sunset. The huts were built around July time last year and are slightly smaller than the traditional ones and run through a full spectrum of contemporary colours from sandy yellows and oranges, through to greens, blues, pinks and purples, each with it's own sadolin colour reference!
There are around 3 or 4 local manufacturers who have built and erected the huts. The annual ground rent is slightly cheaper at £750 due to use not permitted during the 'Race for Life' day and the 4 days over the 'Bournemouth air show'
The current owners are more than happy with the huts and have already enjoyed decent weather from early April onwards this year with views of the whole bay, from the Isle of Wight across to the hills of the purbecks and old Harry's rock.
