Beach Huts at Night Time

The starry sky looks down on these sleeping navy and white striped beach huts. The furrowed sand glistens with tiny beads. The sky is made of layered stitched fabrics, while the lower section is handmade from yarn and further worked to give texture and dimension. A delightful image to adorn a nursery or bedroom.

These beach hut pictures are made by textile artist Anita Langham, who lives and works in Boscastle in North Cornwall. They are made from fabric and stitch, using reclaimed textiles and yarns as far as possible. Glitter and beads are then added to give a special sparkle.

Each piece is one of a kind – it will be based on the image you see here, but will be unique to you. Each comes framed in neutral tones to complement any décor.
