Description of Property and Facilities
Our wonderful little beach hut is available to rent for 2 night weekend breaks during the warmer months. Situated on our isolated, totally private cove, the beach hut offers the chance to really escape for a few days away from it all! Where else can you enjoy your own private beach, totally isolated down a steep cliff path, with the most amazing views of the stunning South Devon coast and out to sea? Imagine lighting up the BBQ, cracking open a bottle of wine and just chilling out listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks... The beach hut has a double bed that you climb up a ladder to get to, a large table with bench seats, double gas hob and a sink. The small kitchen area has all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery that you need for your stay. There is running water, but no electricity - so lighting is provided by simple windup lanterns and there is a cool box for your food. The hut has a small woodburner inside, so if the evening turns chilly you will be still be toasty and warm indoors. Outside there is a fantastic woodfired hot tub for you to relax in at the end of a hard day playing on the beach and swimming! Just light up the woodburner attached and keep it fed for a few hours and the hot tub will be ready for use... lovely! There is a modern compost toilet in the outside shed and a simple outside shower as well.

Located on our PRIVATE cove, access to the Beach Hut is from Carswell Farm (where you can park your car) and then you have a 15 minute walk, including a steep path down to the cove. There is no access for vehicles, so you will need to carry everything you want in a rucksack and wear sturdy footwear.
