Overview

This hut has a unique setting as it is the very last hut adjacent to Hengistbury Head.

The hut faces the sea and there is nothing between its deck and the beach in front, which is only a few metres away.  The hut has recently been painted inside and is very clean and comfortable.

The hut has a raised deck with stunning uninterrupted views to the Isle of Wight. Only one very well behaved dog is allowed.

The hut has a double pull out bed downstairs. Upstairs the space is partitioned to have a comfortable double and a single bed. Bring your own bedding or sleeping bag, there will be duvets and pillows provided. Guests are expected to leave the hut as clean and tidy as they find it.

Once a deposit is settled, you will receive a full information pack and plenty of photos.

A BBQ, logs and a canoe.

There is a shop/beach café/bar by the ferry which is open all day in the summer and at the
weekends.

There is a take away service – use the bike if you want to bring it back to the hut – similarly
for the shop, which sells all the basics

There are 2 bikes at the hut, which you are welcome to use (one gents and one ladies). The
bikes are stored in the hut when the hut is not in use. When the hut is in use, they are left outside in between the hut 475 and its neighbour and are locked to the decking rails (bike
locks/chains are at the hut). Please remember to lock the bikes at night/day or when you are
leaving the hut for a walk etc as bikes have been stolen from the spit. If you take a bike
to the shop then again, please lock it outside the shop/café. There are 2 bike locks at the hut.
