The hut is at the end of a second row, with plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the views. The hut can be reached either via steps or for wheelchair access via the private road that leads down past the toilet block and along the promenade.
The beautiful sandy beach is only yards away, and access to the beach is just across the promenade. From the hut, you can see Walton Pier and the Lifeboat Station to the left and to the right the wind farm.
There is a water tap 2 metres from the hut which is drinking water.
Dogs are also allowed on this section of the beach all year round.
Walking to Walton takes 15 - 20 minutes along the promenade past an ice cream shop, and to Frinton 30 minutes. Frinton has one main high street with shops and restaurants, and in Walton is Yates's fish & chip restaurant - thoroughly recommend.
