Summerleaze in Bude is a truly special location. Hailed as an original purpose built victorian sea pool and beach hut location, these gorgeous beach huts are instantly noticeable as you wander down the short sand path leading from the car park, out on to the open cove style beach.

Separate rows of beach huts are lined here in a bright display of colour and seaside rest. The beach huts all vary in style and size with the main constancy displayed through the bold yellow, blues, greens and reds so familiar with beach hut doors.

Some adjoined, some free standing, these beach huts reside on multi level sea side stairs and long wooden walkways offering varying views and points to be perfectly placed by the sea.

Summerleaze also accommodates for the less abled with dedicated ‘disabled use beach huts’ which are fully wheelchair accessible.

There are facilities here too and loads of things for the kids to do. Sand castle building, surf lessons, sea pool swimming, diving, rock climbing and plenty of room to play ball games or have a picnic. Dogs are welcome here too.

A wonderful mix of fun family time and a relaxed atmosphere, Summerleaze is a popular spot positioned in a cove with plenty of space to play in, especially while the tide is out.
