Sophia's Sun Hut, Southcliff

We had the best day at Sophia's Sun Hut! Great location for grabbing snacks, ice creams etc or accessing the beach. The hut is in a fabulous elevated location which gave us some peace & privacy when we needed it as well as some beautiful views across the beach & pier. Would absolutely recommend, the owner communicated all the information we needed well in advance and has thoughtfully stocked the hut for guests. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful hut ☺️

This beach hut is in a very difficult to access area, most beach huts in this general location are pretty accessible but unfortunately this one isn’t. Some of our party couldn’t make it up to the beach hut so we did not even manage to get there, there may have been another route but we couldn’t find it and there was nothing on the info supplied about it being tricky to access. Owner totally ignored my what’s app message on the day. £40 wasted unfortunately.

Lovely beach hut, nicely decorated and clean , we did assume there was a kettle and little stove to make tea as seen in website picture but no, nice little cafe below (cash only ) so we got our cuppa . Only downside the steep steps up to hut and wonky slabs along that row . Lovely view though and we enjoyed our day .

We had a fantastic day! The hut had everything we could need and was beautifully clean. The only thing I think is needed is a Facebook page so that people can see photographs and share their experiences since everything seems to be on Facebook now. We will be back for sure!!

Lovely hut with a great view. Customer service from Sarah was absolutely outstanding, (especially when I managed to lock us out of the hut in the rain at lunch 😅). The 5 year old's beach hut birthday was exactly what she wanted!

Visited the beach hut on the August Bank Holiday. Location is perfect for the cafe and the beach. I think being further back affords you far more privacy and you just can not get better value then this beach hut.
