Steeped in history, Eastern Kings in Plymouth is the location of the ultimate hidden beach huts and there’s absolutely nothing traditional about them.

These sublimely unique beach huts, originally a point of defence, are built into the stone faced cliff and have been repurposed as a truly unique style of beach hut. There are only 5 beach huts here but well worth the visit, especially if you desire the seclusion only a destination like this provides.

Hard to find and blocked from public view is definitely the way to describe this location and what makes them so desirable. Situated only a five minute walk from parking and the wonderful Devils Point, they share views directly over the River Tamar at Plymouth Sound. There is a tidal sea pool for swimming to submerge yourself in as you wander past along the sea wall on the way from the parking to the beach huts and the bay reaching out in front of you once you arrive at this truly secluded beach hut location.

Crystal clear waters to swim in and what feels like your own private rock pool to wade in while the tide is out enhances the feeling of being a world away.

If quiet reflection, watching the world float by, historical landmarks and your own private space are what you desire, these beach huts are the ones for you.
